SCOUTS/HOMESCHOOL/SUMMER CAMP GROUPS
Upon arrival we will have children watch a ten minute informational video to give them a brief history of the site. They will then be given comprehensive tour guide maps to explain the features of the tour. A scavenger hunt kids map is available online for the youngest of visitors. We do not have these available in the visitors center.
A picnic area is available for lunches. We suggest a bagged lunch as our snack bar consists of candy, chips, water, soda. Plan on 2-3 hours to fit in all activities.
Hands on Kids Dig:
Starting June 21st thru Labor Day, our Kids Dig is open daily to small
groups and regular visitors. This activity allows students a hands on
approach to archaeology. In the Kids Dig they will find a variety of
artifacts including pottery, shells, charcoal and polished stones. Students
are allowed to take polished stones home with them. Kids Dig is
included with admission to the site, there is no additional fee for this
activity.
Alpacas:
Our alpacas are here year round for your enjoyment. These friendly animals
love to greet our visitors.

required for a group discount, you will be charged the appropriate rate.
